Acceptable Use Policy

Rules that protect the network, other customers and ourselves. They apply to all services and form part of the Terms of Service.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all services: virtual servers and the control panel. A breach of the policy is a breach of the Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited content

The following may not be stored on or distributed from the servers:

  • sexual material involving minors – we report such cases to law enforcement immediately;
  • content that is illegal in the country where the equipment is located or in the customer’s country;
  • material that infringes copyright, trademarks or other third-party rights;
  • malware, exploits and tools for distributing them;
  • phishing pages and imitations of other services;
  • defamation, threats and material inciting hatred.

3. Prohibited activities

The servers may not be used to:

  • carry out DDoS attacks, scanning or attempts at unauthorised access to other systems;
  • send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, including through third-party services;
  • host botnet command servers, proxies for bypassing blocks or anonymous exit nodes without written agreement;
  • mine cryptocurrency on the promo plan or on any configuration where it degrades the platform for neighbours;
  • spoof IP addresses or headers, or interfere with the network;
  • scrape other websites in breach of their terms or the law;
  • resell server resources without notifying us and accepting responsibility for end users.

4. Use of resources

The resources of a configuration are meant for your server. Constant 100% CPU load on the promo plan, disk operations that degrade other customers’ servers, and exceeding the included traffic may lead to speed limits or suspension pending investigation.

On the Performance range, CPU and memory are allocated without overselling, so load within the configuration causes no restrictions.

5. Reporting abuse

Abuse from an address in our network can be reported to abuse@f3cloud.com. Include the IP address, the time of the event in UTC and attach logs or links: without them a review is impossible. We acknowledge receipt within one business day.

6. Enforcement

The measure depends on the severity and repetition of the breach: a warning with a deadline to fix it, a speed limit, suspension of the server, or termination of the services without a refund. In cases requiring an immediate response – malicious traffic, prohibited content – the server is suspended without warning. Where there are signs of a crime, we pass the details to law enforcement.

7. Customer responsibility

You are responsible for everything that happens on your server, including the actions of your users and the consequences of a compromise caused by insecure configuration. If claims are made against us because of your server, you undertake to reimburse the related costs.

8. Changes to this policy

We may amend this policy. Material changes are announced by e-mail.
